Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain accurate personal tool inventory and comply with calibration protocols
• Provide warranty support by evaluating claims and submitting service reports
• Communicate service activities to customers and managers via daily reports and telephone
• Rebuild complete components to OEM specifications in service shop (Level 3)
• Serve as a subject matter expert and support training for other technicians (Level 3)

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read hydraulic and 24-volt schematics
• Possession of personal hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to travel as required
• Level 2 requires a Technical/Trade School certificate or 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Level 3 requires 5+ years of relevant experience and expertise in Rig Control Systems (RCS)
• Ability to meet MSHA training requirements
