Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, installation, and maintenance of water treatment and disinfection systems
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment
• Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories
• Support customers with local NYC regulations regarding Legionella compliance (LL77 and Bill 1390)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the institutional sector
• Ensure full compliance with all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in water treatment or an industrial/mechanical environment
• Valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in various environments (hot, cold, noisy, or dirty) and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade school certification
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Experience in the specialty chemical industry
• Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
