Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality on and off-site technical support for Maag family equipment, including plastic pelletizing, polymer pump, and filtration systems.
• Act as the primary technical representative to customers for product maintenance, installation, and repair issues.
• Travel nationally and internationally to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct technical discussions regarding machinery repairs, upgrades, and selection to assist customers with specific needs.
• Provide technical training to customers at both company facilities and customer locations.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Maintain high standards for quality, accident prevention, and occupational safety.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, including international trips.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training in electrical systems (single-phase, 3-phase, or low voltage).
• Experience with logic circuits, electric motors, and mechanical devices.
• Previous experience in a field service role.
• Proficiency using measuring and test equipment such as micrometers and multi-meters.
• Experience in plastics processing or rotational molding.
• Multiple language skills.
