Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute and support the installation and commissioning of electric aviation charging stations at customer sites
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on charging equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to charging stations
• Provide on-site support and training to customers on charging infrastructure
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, installations, and maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in installation and maintenance of electrical systems (solar, energy storage, UPS, or EV charging)
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment like digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites, sometimes with little notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical subject
• 2+ years of experience in field service for EV charging or renewable energy
• 5+ years of experience in field service for a power electronics manufacturer
