Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and service marine, industrial, and mobile hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems
• Perform PM inspections on various types of equipment and systems
• Act as a liaison between the company and customers
• Document job details and report specific findings on appropriate forms
• Oversee projects valued at $10,000 and above to ensure budget and profit margin compliance
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment according to manuals and DOT standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Ability to read and comprehend hydraulic schematics
• Proficiency with hydraulic components, fittings, and adapters
• Ability to distinguish between hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems
• Experience with basic AC/DC circuits
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and manlifts
• Clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Bennett Mechanical Aptitude score of 80 or above
• FPS Level: Industrial Hydraulic Mechanic or 10 years of directly related experience
• Completion of Basic and Advanced Hydraulic classes
• Training in Seal Identification, Parker Hydraulic Fitting, and WIX Filtration
