Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair)

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations in the St. Augustine, FL area to perform maintenance and repairs on major appliances, TVs, and A/C units.
• Conduct technical diagnoses and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
• Assess problem extent, document findings, and make decisions regarding product repair or part replacement.
• Manage inventory and accurately process paperwork and data entry upon completion of each job.
• Pre-screen service calls to obtain necessary diagnostic information prior to arrival.
• Meet or exceed company metrics including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, and parts management.
• Utilize all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools properly.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical role (Field Service preferred).
• Proven experience repairing major appliances, including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.
• Proficiency with various tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and document product or system issues effectively.
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification.
• Physical ability to perform field service tasks, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
