Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair)

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations within the Kansas City metro area to perform maintenance and repairs on LG appliances, TVs, and A/C units
• Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances
• Assess problem extent, document findings, and make decisions regarding product repair or part replacement
• Use all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools properly
• Manage inventory and perform administrative tasks, including accurate data entry and paperwork processing
• Pre-screen service calls to obtain necessary diagnostic information prior to arrival
• Meet or exceed company metrics including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, and parts management

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical role (Field Service preferred)
• Proven experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, or cleaning products)
• Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic test equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and document product/system issues
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing
• Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification
• Physical ability to perform field service tasks, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
