About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites
- Assist with site planning, jurisdictional compliance, inspections, and system commissioning
- Organize and prioritize daily service calls and routes
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers through training and support
- Monitor daily inventory levels and accurately complete service reports
- Drive safely while following all local, state, and federal traffic laws
Requirements
- Availability for weekly Monday–Friday overnight travel
- Valid Driver’s License
- 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders up to 30 ft
- Ability to operate power equipment such as aerial lifts, concrete saws, and jack hammers
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating system configurations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with access control systems or fire alarms
- OSHA certification or familiarity with OSHA compliance
