Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems, including generator sets and balance of plant equipment
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair various OEM equipment installed at client sites
• Perform minor and major overhauls on mechanical and electrical systems
• Assist the Service Area Manager (SAM) with parts and labor estimates for repairs
• Prepare detailed Field Service Reports and manage weekly expense submissions
• Proactively prepare material lists for preventative and corrective maintenance
• Act as a technical reference point for clients to ensure continuous plant operation

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency with human-machine devices including PLCs, inverters, and transducers
• Solid understanding of engines, mechanical systems, and hydraulics
• Valid Driver's License
• Full work authorization in France
• Availability to travel (averaging 10 nights out per month)
