Field Service Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the activities of Field Service Engineers globally
• Develop and maintain global service plans for installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Conduct risk assessments for service activities and site operations
• Manage global travel schedules and service logistics
• Support engineers in diagnosing complex software and hardware issues
• Define and maintain service documentation and troubleshooting guides for regulatory compliance
• Prioritize service requests and manage escalation paths with R&D and quality teams
• Communicate field feedback to product management to drive continuous improvement
• Provide technical leadership and conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members
• Provide occasional on-site support for installations and maintenance globally

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in field service or technical support, preferably in medical devices
• Proven experience leading and managing field service teams
• Expertise in software and hardware troubleshooting and risk assessment
• Experience in global service planning and resource allocation
• Familiarity with medical device regulations (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
• Willingness and ability to travel globally
