Field Service System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Commission, test, and maintain Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems to ensure operational readiness.
• Perform software and hardware updates, including application patches and system upgrades.
• Execute system backup and restore procedures to ensure data integrity and high availability.
• Troubleshoot and rectify complex system faults to minimize plant downtime.
• Administer T3000 Application Servers and manage industrial network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Configure and maintain bus system architectures such as Terminal and Plant Bus.
• Implement network security concepts, manage antivirus solutions, and deploy security patches.
• Ensure all field activities comply with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) and Quality management protocols.

Requirements

• University Degree in Control, Computational, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven professional experience in I&C system commissioning and maintenance.
• Experience in network administration and managing industrial network infrastructure.
• Previous field service experience within industrial environments such as power plants or refineries.
• Proficiency in English (Professional level).
• Ability to travel extensively and work effectively in challenging field conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the T3000 platform.
• Knowledge of industrial data transfer protocols such as OPC Classic and OPC UA.
• Strong understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles and patch management.
