About the role
Responsibilities
- Commission, test, and maintain Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Perform software and hardware updates, including application patches and system upgrades.
- Execute system backup and restore procedures to ensure data integrity and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and rectify complex system faults to minimize plant downtime.
- Administer T3000 Application Servers and manage industrial network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Configure and maintain bus system architectures such as Terminal and Plant Bus.
- Implement network security concepts, manage antivirus solutions, and deploy security patches.
- Ensure all field activities comply with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) and Quality management protocols.
Requirements
- University Degree in Control, Computational, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven professional experience in I&C system commissioning and maintenance.
- Experience in network administration and managing industrial network infrastructure.
- Previous field service experience within industrial environments such as power plants or refineries.
- Proficiency in English (Professional level).
- Ability to travel extensively and work effectively in challenging field conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with the T3000 platform.
- Knowledge of industrial data transfer protocols such as OPC Classic and OPC UA.
- Strong understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles and patch management.
