Field Service & Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support at key customer sites and additional UK locations
• Diagnose, service, and repair assembly tooling, including pneumatic and DC electric systems
• Carry out preventative maintenance and calibration activities
• Support bespoke assembly projects and customer rework requests
• Deliver product training and technical guidance to customers
• Work closely with internal teams and Area Sales Managers to resolve application challenges
• Promote company products and services through strong customer relationships

Requirements

• Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background (hands-on)
• Experience with assembly tooling (e.g., clutch, transducer, pulse tools)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full and clean UK driving licence
• IT literacy beyond a basic level
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload
• Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

• ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of torque tooling systems and applications
• Experience delivering customer training
