Field Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and installations on electro-mechanical medical equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage an assigned territory by scheduling service calls and PMs within established SLAs.
• Document all performance and maintenance records accurately.
• Plan and order necessary parts while maintaining proper system inventory records.
• Provide guidance and training to customer personnel regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain positive customer relationships through effective and timely communication.
• Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs and policies.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in electrical/electronic engineering, biomedical equipment technology, or computer science with 3+ years of experience (or equivalent experience/certification as specified).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in healthcare settings, including following PPE requirements like gowning and masks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous field service experience in a medical or technical environment.
• Biomedical Engineering Technology (BMET) certification.
