Field Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electro-mechanical medical equipment
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Manage an assigned service territory by efficiently scheduling service calls and travel to meet SLA commitments
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, maintenance records, and inventory transactions
• Provide training and guidance to customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service status and issue resolution to maintain high satisfaction
• Mentor and support other service technicians through knowledge sharing and troubleshooting best practices

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience
• BMET certification or completion of a U.S. military electrical/biomedical equipment technology program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel 50-75%, including overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous field service experience in a medical or clinical setting
