Field Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage marine service teams specializing in mechanical and control systems
• Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex service issues and escalations
• Ensure service quality, safety compliance, and operational readiness
• Oversee service performance, including revenue, cost control, and manpower planning
• Drive team capability development through training and coaching initiatives
• Support dealer network development and maintain high service standards
• Act as a key interface with factories and regional teams regarding warranty and technical topics

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 11–12 years of experience in marine engineering or service operations
• Strong knowledge of marine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems
• PLC knowledge is considered a significant advantage
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in English; additional Southeast Asian languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel offshore and overseas as required
