About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage all customer service for ASM products in the Japan region, including equipment installation, qualification, and service.
  • Lead and develop a team of Field Service Engineers (FSEs), overseeing resource scheduling, career development, and performance reviews.
  • Own regional spare parts depots and manage consignment inventory levels.
  • Accountable for meeting all financial targets for the region, including service and spares businesses.
  • Establish and maintain a "Safety and Quality First" culture while driving customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales to close service and spares contracts and work with product organizations to improve equipment maintenance and uptime.
  • Implement strategic tactics and standardized processes to improve the service organization structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Field Service Management, preferably within the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
  • Proven experience in P&L management and general business processes.
  • Strong people management skills with experience in forecasting revenue generation.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and communication skills.
