Field Service Maintenance Tech

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and install bulk liquid and gaseous cryogenic supply systems, including nitrogen, argon, oxygen, CO₂, and hydrogen.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned systems following Linde, NFPA, and CGA guidelines.
• Support supply systems across various industries such as medical gas, manufacturing, food production, and water treatment.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Conduct fieldwork in outdoor environments and all weather conditions, including working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and man lifts.
• Respond to service calls during business hours and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining mechanical and cryogenic supply systems.
• Proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of piping systems, pumps, PLCs, regulators, and heat exchangers.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methods for industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), smartphones, tablets, and handheld data entry devices.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
• A clean driving record and the ability to safely operate a service vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of regulatory and industrial standards and codes.
• Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
