About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform basic and routine technical support and troubleshooting for customers both onsite and remotely under supervision
- Assist with product installations and routine maintenance following established safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Accurately document all service activities, diagnostics, and parts used within the Service Management System
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary
- Support senior technicians during advanced repairs and installations by providing tools and following technical guidance
- Participate actively in training sessions to develop technical skills and stay updated on new products and procedures
Requirements
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- No prior professional experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge in engineering fundamentals
- Interest in technical support, troubleshooting, and product repair
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in a technical environment
