Field Service Engineer - UPS (Data Center Solutions)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repair, and on-site technical support for UPS systems
• Execute commissioning activities (L2–L5), system testing, and verification
• Provide expert support for critical escalations and conduct root-cause analysis
• Deliver training to field engineers, service partners, and customers
• Develop and maintain service documentation and spare-parts lists
• Support and manage a network of EMEA service partners
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to address customer needs

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• 3+ years of experience with UPS or power-electronics systems
• Strong understanding of power infrastructure and electrical systems
• Fluent in German and English
• Willingness to travel within EMEA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments
• Knowledge of battery technologies and monitoring systems
• Relevant electrical safety certifications
