Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, startup, maintenance, and retrofitting of laser equipment
• Provide on-site technical training to customers
• Identify, analyze, and repair equipment malfunctions
• Execute projects and software updates to improve machine performance
• Support stable production for clients through technical troubleshooting and communication

Requirements

• Native-level Japanese communication skills (N1 level required for non-native applicants)
• 1–2 years of technical service experience
• Proficiency with hand tools, including testers, screwdrivers, and multimeters
• Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit and component diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a service engineer for machinery or industrial equipment
• Experience in maintenance, preservation, or laser equipment startup
• Proficiency in written English for reading manuals and email correspondence
• Possession of a Second-Class Electrician license
