Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems and equipment
• Deliver high-quality service to customers while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently in the field

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in electrical power systems, field service, or related roles
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems, high-voltage equipment, and protective relays
• Proficiency in using electrical test equipment such as power analyzers and relay test sets
• Knowledge of industry standards including IEEE, NFPA 70E, NETA, and ANSI
• Willingness to travel extensively for on-site service assignments
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification
• NETA Level II or higher certification
• Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and automation controls
• Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role
