About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical advisor to the USAF 388th Fighter Wing and Ogden Air Logistics Complex supporting F-35A,B,C/F135 operations and maintenance
- Provide hands-on support for propulsion systems, tooling, material, hardware, software, and offboard system processes
- Ensure comprehensive reporting on aircraft and engine status, flight reports, operational data, and parts consumption
- Collaborate with internal P&W teams, including Customer Support Engineering, Supply Chain, and Logistics, to resolve emerging issues
- Conduct investigations to determine root causes of technical problems and coordinate solutions between P&W, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, and Lockheed Martin
- Comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements
- Travel domestically or internationally to support customer deployments as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with 5+ years of engine/aircraft maintenance and logistics experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
- Ability to travel and flexibility to rotate between first and second shift schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with aviation maintenance and production information systems
- Knowledge of gas turbine engine theory and operation
- Experience in F-35/F135 production, flight testing, customer support, maintenance, or program management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
