Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain medical equipment at customer sites
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments and resolving technical needs
• Perform administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and preventative maintenance documentation
• Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems
• Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries
• Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
• Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostic x-ray, cath labs, and/or image-guided therapy equipment
