Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments and resolving technical needs
• Perform administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and preventative maintenance documentation
• Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems using appropriate tools and test equipment
• Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4+ years in electromechanical industries
• Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call, weekends, or varying shifts as needed
• Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CT, IGT, or Ultrasound modalities
• Professional certifications such as CBET, CRES, BSEE, BSEET, BSME, or BSMET
