Field Service Engineer (Pharma)

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, installations, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of new machines at customer sites.
• Perform general field service activities including preventative maintenance, calibrations, overhauls, and fault finding.
• Provide technical advice to customers regarding machine maintenance and solutions via on-site visits or telecommunication.
• Recommend technical improvements, modernizations, modifications, and necessary spare-parts replacements.
• Complete all related reporting, site documentation, and follow-up on open technical points.
• For senior roles, perform site management and provide supervision and training to other field service engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in the Pharmaceutical or Packaging industry.
• Proficiency in making updates to Rockwell or Siemens PLC programs and HMI.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the Asia/Pacific (APAC) region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Local Taiwanese nationality with the ability to communicate in the local language.
