About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain multimodality imaging equipment at customer sites.
- Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments, arrival times, and resolving technical needs.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM), Field Change Orders (FCO), and installations.
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, and networking problems using appropriate tools and test equipment.
- Complete all administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and site documentation.
- Participate in regional work team activities to improve processes and identify training gaps.
- Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based).
- Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Philips Diagnostic X-ray (DXR) training and experience.
- BSEE, BSEET, BSME, or BSMET degree.
