Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical service including installation, inspection, commissioning, validation, repair, and preventative maintenance for Getinge products (Ventilators, Anesthesia, ECOM, Tables, etc.)
• Deliver user training to end customers within the assigned territory
• Identify potential service contract opportunities and facilitate renewals
• Assist customers with spare parts ordering and manage account receivables
• Document all service activities, customer complaints, and adverse event feedback in accordance with company policy
• Maintain company assets, including test equipment and spare parts inventory
• Maintain professional communication with customers, sales teams, and technical support

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of field service experience in medical devices or the pharmaceutical industry
• Proficiency in reading and understanding English technical documentation and electrical drawings
• Strong ability to use schematics, system diagrams, and repair/replacement procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimum supervision
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Background experience with Ventilator, Anesthesia, or SWP products
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or OR3D software
• Valid driver's license
