About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment (MRI, CT, X-ray, etc.) at customer sites.
- Provide exceptional customer service by meeting arrival commitments and resolving technical issues effectively.
- Perform preventative maintenance, field change orders, and equipment installations.
- Complete all required administrative tasks, including service work orders, expense reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Travel approximately 70% of the time across the Montreal, Sherbrooke, and Abitibi regions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging service or 4+ years of electromechanical industry experience.
- College diploma in electronics or a combination of equivalent education and experience; Biomedical Engineering Technology diploma is highly preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- Ability to work safely around radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience or training with Philips OEM equipment.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
