Field Service Engineer - Imaging Systems

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment (MRI, CT, X-ray, etc.) at customer sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting arrival commitments and resolving technical issues effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance, field change orders, and equipment installations.
• Complete all required administrative tasks, including service work orders, expense reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Travel approximately 70% of the time across the Montreal, Sherbrooke, and Abitibi regions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging service or 4+ years of electromechanical industry experience.
• College diploma in electronics or a combination of equivalent education and experience; Biomedical Engineering Technology diploma is highly preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Ability to work safely around radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or training with Philips OEM equipment.
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
