Field Service Engineer - Image Guided Therapy

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain image-guided therapy equipment at customer sites
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments, arrival times, and resolving technical needs
• Perform administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and preventative maintenance documentation
• Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems using appropriate tools and test equipment
• Participate in regional work team processes and identify opportunities for training and capability increases
• Manage field service requirements including approximately 70% travel and working 2nd shift hours (11AM-8PM or 12PM-9PM)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4+ years in electromechanical industries
• Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory
• Ability to travel up to 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays
• Ability to work safely with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or training with Cath lab, cardiovascular, or image-guided therapy equipment
