About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain image-guided therapy equipment at customer sites
- Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments, arrival times, and resolving technical needs
- Perform administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and preventative maintenance documentation
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems using appropriate tools and test equipment
- Participate in regional work team processes and identify opportunities for training and capability increases
- Manage field service requirements including approximately 70% travel and working 2nd shift hours (11AM-8PM or 12PM-9PM)
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4+ years in electromechanical industries
- Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory
- Ability to travel up to 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays
- Ability to work safely with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or training with Cath lab, cardiovascular, or image-guided therapy equipment
