Field Service Engineer - Image Guided Therapy/Diagnostic X-Ray

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain image-guided therapy and diagnostic X-ray equipment at customer sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments, setting clear expectations, and resolving technical needs promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM), Field Change Orders (FCO), and installations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, and networking problems.
• Complete all administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and site documentation within regulatory requirements.
• Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based) or 3+ years in a related electromechanical industry.
• Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge and application of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
• Ability to use various technical tools and test equipment to repair systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call, weekends, and extra hours as needed.
• Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or training with Cath lab, cardiovascular, image-guided therapy, or diagnostic X-ray equipment.
