About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain image-guided therapy and diagnostic X-ray equipment at customer sites.
- Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments, setting clear expectations, and resolving technical needs promptly.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM), Field Change Orders (FCO), and installations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, and networking problems.
- Complete all administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and site documentation within regulatory requirements.
- Travel approximately 70% of the time across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based) OR 3+ years of experience in related electromechanical industries.
- Associate degree in electronics, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to repair equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, weekends, and mandatory extra hours based on workload.
- Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience or training with Cath lab, cardiovascular, image-guided therapy, or diagnostic X-ray equipment.
