About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, upgrade, and maintenance of semiconductor process equipment
- Adhere to all safety procedures, prioritizing safety and quality
- Facilitate efficient customer support through communication via phone, email, and in-person
- Analyze tool log data and create reports using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Maximize tool uptime by executing installation and support for hardware issues
- Manage new evaluation projects and take responsibility for project success
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a field service engineer in a related industry
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or higher)
- English proficiency (TOEIC 600 equivalent or higher)
