Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing, mechanical servicing, and electrical/mechanical fault finding on medical equipment
• Carry out equipment calibration and report any faulty or out-of-calibration devices to the Line Manager
• Manage and maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts to ensure timely response to call-outs
• Produce high-quality service documentation, validation reports, and electronic reports for customers
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers through courteous and first-class interpersonal skills
• Organise and prioritise a dynamic workload, responding to customer enquiries quickly and effectively
• Comply with all Quality System duties, company policies, and on-site Health & Safety requirements

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (or sufficient equivalent experience)
• Proven experience working in a field-based role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems (e.g., GForce)
• Strong organisational skills and a self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
• Willingness to travel up to 80% to meet the requirements of the role
