About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing, mechanical servicing, and electrical/mechanical fault finding on medical equipment
- Carry out equipment calibration and report any faulty or out-of-calibration devices to the Line Manager
- Manage and maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts to ensure timely response to call-outs
- Produce high-quality service documentation, validation reports, and electronic reports for customers
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers through courteous and first-class interpersonal skills
- Organise and prioritise a dynamic workload, responding to customer enquiries quickly and effectively
- Comply with all Quality System duties, company policies, and on-site Health & Safety requirements
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (or sufficient equivalent experience)
- Proven experience working in a field-based role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems (e.g., GForce)
- Strong organisational skills and a self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- Willingness to travel up to 80% to meet the requirements of the role
