Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, and maintenance of surgical tables, lighting, and sealing supply units.
• Ensure optimal performance of medical equipment and provide maintenance proposals to prevent malfunctions.
• Provide rapid onsite response to equipment failures, including root cause analysis and necessary component replacement.
• Support customers to ensure safe and reliable medical treatments through total technical support.
• Collaborate with office engineers to provide prompt service and support to assigned customers in the Kansai area.

Requirements

• Experience in field service, sales engineering, or technical support (experience with equipment maintenance and repair is highly welcome).
• Knowledge of electrical or mechanical engineering.
• English reading comprehension skills for reviewing internal documents and manuals.
• Valid driver's license (Class 1 Ordinary Motor Vehicle License).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling installed equipment involving facility or power distribution.
• Experience in customer negotiation and problem-solving.
• Possession of a Third-Class Medical Device Maintenance Engineer qualification.
