Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, inspection, maintenance, and preservation work on infection control products (sterilizers and washers)
• Create and submit service reports, inspection records, and cost estimates
• Manage installation, commissioning, and adjustment of new equipment
• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary
• Collect and report product quality issues
• Manage company vehicles, tools, and measuring instruments
• Support and train external contractors and users on proper equipment management
• Propose and implement periodic maintenance plans to customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher
• Basic technical skills in electricity, mechanics, or instrumentation
• Fundamental knowledge of cleaning and sterilization processes
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with medical institutions and stakeholders
• Ability to work in the Nagoya area and support other regions if required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with medical devices or infection control equipment
• Ability to handle occasional international business trips (approximately 1 week, 1-2 times per year)

Benefits

• Annual salary: 3.5 to 6 million JPY (determined by experience and skills, including bonuses)
• Monthly salary: 270,000 to 450,000 JPY (includes 30 hours of fixed overtime pay)
