Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on operating theatre equipment, including lights, pendants, and surgical tables
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems within hospital environments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through high standards of service and communication
• Manage service requests and maintain accurate documentation within internal systems
• Travel across the territory (Adelaide and occasional interstate) to support customer needs
• Ensure all technical work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Background in electronics, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field
• Experience in field service, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, or laboratory environments
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Holds (or is able to obtain) relevant electrical licences, such as 240V or disconnect/reconnect
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and perform under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build professional customer relationships
