About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide timely on-site field support for battery, powertrain, and cluster related failures
- Maintain a 48-hour turnaround time (TAT) for field service support
- Collaborate with engineering, supply-chain, and customer support teams to coordinate spare parts and service workflows
- Lead and manage a field support team of technicians and drivers
- Oversee periodic maintenance schedules and service campaigns
- Collect and provide structured feedback to engineering and product teams based on field observations
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in battery and motor systems
- Interface professionally with customers to explain technical issues and guide safe operation
- Manage workshop tie-ups with multibrand service providers and coordinate with external vendors
Requirements
- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 6-8 years of experience in After Sales Operations and customer support
- EV industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analytics
- Knowledge of EVs, charging station deployment, and logistics
- Ability to travel frequently to customer sites
