Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide timely on-site field support for battery, powertrain, and cluster related failures
• Maintain a 48-hour turnaround time (TAT) for field service support
• Collaborate with engineering, supply-chain, and customer support teams to coordinate spare parts and service workflows
• Lead and manage a field support team of technicians and drivers
• Oversee periodic maintenance schedules and service campaigns
• Collect and provide structured feedback to engineering and product teams based on field observations
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in battery and motor systems
• Interface professionally with customers to explain technical issues and guide safe operation
• Manage workshop tie-ups with multibrand service providers and coordinate with external vendors

Requirements

• Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• 6-8 years of experience in After Sales Operations and customer support
• EV industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analytics
• Knowledge of EVs, charging station deployment, and logistics
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites
