Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of endoscopy equipment, medical laser systems, and ultraviolet light sterilisation units
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Support product upgrades and preventative maintenance schedules
• Deliver customer training and maintain accurate technical documentation
• Work closely with clinical staff and internal teams to minimize equipment downtime

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within a service, operations, or customer-focused environment
• Experience resolving customer issues directly to a high standard
• Demonstrated track record of meeting performance targets, KPIs, or service level agreements
• Strong ability to perform root cause analysis and implement practical solutions
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry-specific qualifications or certifications in electronics, electrical, or a trade discipline
• Experience working in endoscopy environments, hospitals, or medical service-related industries
• Proficiency with SAP and Salesforce
