Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, uninstall, and service BD Biosciences instruments, providing both remote and on-site support.
• Perform instrument failure analysis, screening, and follow-up to improve reliability.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and corrective technical support in line with SLAs.
• Relocate and certify (IQ and OQ) instruments based on customer requirements.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and personal tools for successful task execution.
• Document all relevant data in BD Service Management systems to ensure accuracy and high-quality reporting.
• Promote service contracts and technical services in cooperation with the sales team.
• Build and expand long-term, positive relationships with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably Biomedical, Electronic, or Mechanical engineering).
• Fluent Polish (native preferred) and very good communication skills in English.
• Valid European class B driving license.
• High willingness to travel throughout Poland and occasionally within the Central Europe region.
• Strong self-organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with a solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a field service engineer with high-tech medical devices.
• Knowledge of computers, networking, electronics, and precision mechanics.
• Initial knowledge of flow cytometry.
