Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform professional field service, maintenance, and repairs of air compressors and related industrial equipment
• Carry out service, repairs, maintenance, and overhauls to maximize customer satisfaction
• Implement correct working methods, use appropriate tools, and observe all safety rules and regulations
• Test run and monitor serviced units, recording all readings to ensure satisfactory operating conditions
• Write detailed job reports and recommend necessary follow-up actions or repairs to customers
• Maintain cleanliness of compressor rooms and surrounding areas at customer premises
• Provide technical and quality feedback to specialists and work closely with sales and project teams

Requirements

• Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical control systems
• Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, motors, and gear assemblies
• Hands-on field experience in mechanical installations and repairs
• Skilled in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and instrumentation
• Experience with VSD (Variable Speed Drives) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drives)
• Valid driver's license for travel to customer sites
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in BSEE, BSME, or BSECE
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience in customer relationship management and technical coaching
