Field Service Engineer Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced engineers with the corrective and preventative maintenance of healthcare diagnostic equipment and systems
• Learn through real-life field situations to develop technical skills in medical engineering
• Support customers by delivering best-in-class service levels to ensure equipment reliability
• Work as part of a multi-modality team within the Imaging System sector

Requirements

• 5 GCSEs grades 9-4 (A*-C) including Maths and English
• 2 A levels in a technical subject and/or BTECH in Engineering or similar
• Full, clean driver's license (essential for field-based travel)
• A strong interest in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Logical thinking and a passion for fault finding and hands-on problem solving
