Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, tuning, operational audits, and pre-commissioning testing on boilers and environmental equipment
• Collect and evaluate field data to support technical decision-making
• Prepare technical reports, including service and special reports
• Work as part of commissioning teams on project startups
• Provide construction technical support and outage management
• Conduct site walk-downs, equipment assessments, and troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment
• Assist in developing estimates and proposals for equipment upgrades
• Collaborate with customers, account executives, and vendors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, Vocational/Technical certificate, or Associate’s Degree (or 8+ years of relevant experience)
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 90% domestic travel)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, walking, and standing
