Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and systems within the Feed & Biofuel Industry
• Perform routine maintenance including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
• Assist in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
• Provide technical support and training to customers and operators on equipment use

Requirements

• Mechanical education or strong mechanical technical skills
• Proficiency in electrical, process, and computer systems
• Experience with machinery such as gearboxes, transport systems, bearings, and seals
• Good blacksmith skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel weekly across Europe
• Fluency in Dutch and good proficiency in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous working experience in animal, pet food, aqua feed, or biofuel production industries
