Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle availability by solving technical problems on-site
• Perform rapid and careful diagnostics and repairs following health and safety guidelines
• Combine reactive repairs with preventive maintenance according to documented standards
• Coordinate and monitor defect rectification when third-party technicians are involved
• Conduct training for customer employees as required
• Manage administrative tasks including warranty claims, parts ordering, and time tracking

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Mechanic or Mechatronics Technician
• Proven experience in repair and maintenance of bodywork, electrics, and mechanics
• Electrical diagnostic skills, including experience with multiplex systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)
• Systematic and clean working style with ability to work independently
• Driver's license (Class C/CE is an advantage)

Preferred Qualifications

• Good English language skills
• Willingness to work overtime and travel internationally if required
