About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Alcon surgical equipment, including preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades
  • Provide technical advice to customers regarding the commissioning and testing of products
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to secure service contract renewals
  • Document service logs and prepare reports for product failure analysis
  • Adhere to GxP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality control and compliance
  • Manage daily schedules and maintain communication with customers, dispatch, and cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
  • 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (tools, replacement parts, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with advanced medical devices or lasers
  • Familiarity with hospital operating room and surgery center protocols
  • Working knowledge of ServiceMax or other CRM tools
  • Ability to resolve problems and communicate professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% out of territory and overnight as needed
