Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of analytical laboratory systems and multi-vendor solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues involving hardware, software, and networking products.
• Optimize hardware and software configurations at customer sites to ensure peak performance.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations to prevent unplanned business interruptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to provide comprehensive customer solutions.
• Deliver technical training and maintenance seminars to customers or other field engineers.
• Manage product escalations and serve as a technical resource for complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Environmental Science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences field.
• Expertise in analytical techniques and method development, specifically with GC, HPLC, UHPLC, or MS.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to instrument maintenance, applications support, and repairs.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time to customer sites.
• Ability to meet customer and vendor credentialing requirements for site access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with Agilent solutions.
