About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, relocate, and perform start-up activities for semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
- Provide on-site preventive maintenance and repair services for etch, clean, and deposition equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and determine corrective actions.
- Implement field modifications and updates via Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Maintain accurate service records, diagnostic updates, and part usage documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers to ensure high service quality.
- Manage and maintain assigned company equipment, including tool kits and diagnostic tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience, or an advanced degree.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 90%) both domestically and internationally (e.g., Japan, Korea, Taiwan, US).
- Availability to work swing shifts, compressed workweeks, and participate in a 24/7 on-call standby roster.
- Physical ability to perform job tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor capital equipment.
- Strong foundational analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
