Field Service Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of industrial and commercial power systems
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and inspection of electrical circuits, control panels, motors, and switchgear
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Review service work orders and schedule field appointments
• Provide technical support and customer service during site visits
• Prepare detailed service reports and document test results
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and electrical codes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1000 hours electrical apprentice
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an industrial electrician
• Experience with high and low voltage systems and control circuits
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
