Field Service Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for Agilent analytical instruments to customers in Biopharma, Proteomics, Pharma, and Food sectors across India.
• Deliver customer education courses on-site and at Center of Excellence (COE) labs.
• Perform application method deployment, troubleshooting, and technology transfers between instruments.
• Conduct installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and software/hardware IQ OQ on Agilent products.
• Lead projects requiring coordination with internal functions and customers.
• Deliver product seminars and provide technical training to internal and external teams.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve escalations promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify and qualify new revenue opportunities to provide leads to the sales team.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Instrumentation, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Science, or an equivalent field.
• 5–6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of analytical instruments such as LC/LCMS/QTOF, GC/GCMS, ICPOES/MS, UV/FTIR, qPCR, Tape Station, or Bioanalyzer.
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time to visit customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized experience with LCMS or LCQTOF for Biopharma applications.
• Specialized experience with qPCR, Tape Station, or Bioanalyzers for BSO applications.
