About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise hospitality and gastronomy customers directly at their locations to identify business potential and product needs
  • Actively acquire new clients through a proactive "hunter" mindset, especially during new business openings
  • Build and maintain long-term, high-level partnerships with diverse clients, from chefs to restaurant owners
  • Act as a reliable problem-solver and point of contact to ensure smooth cooperation and customer satisfaction
  • Independently plan appointments and manage your sales territory within Deutz, Porz, Kalk, and Bergisch Gladbach
  • Collaborate with internal customer management, wholesale markets, and delivery teams to provide optimal service

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in trade, sales, or a comparable commercial field
  • Alternatively, significant experience in the gastronomy industry (e.g., Chef, Restaurant Manager, or Hotel Specialist) looking to transition into sales
  • Strong communication skills and a natural talent for networking and relationship building
  • Proven ability to actively acquire new customers and close sales processes
  • Digital literacy and comfort using modern technical equipment such as tablets and smartphones
  • Valid Class B driver's license
  • Current residency within the assigned sales territory
